Miriam Olivi
President

Miriam Olivi is President of Women in Plastics Italy and General Manager of the Frigosystem-Corema group. An expert in international development, she promotes female empowerment in the plastics sector, supporting culture, inclusion, and networking. With WIP, she leads a network that connects talent and industry for a more equal, sustainable, and conscious future.

Clelia Petri

Clelia Petri
Vice President

Clelia Petri is Vice President of Women in Plastics Italy and Head of Management Control at C.B. Brescianini. An expert in Lean processes and industrial management, she coordinates production innovation and compliance in the areas of quality and sustainability. With a pragmatic and collaborative style, she promotes efficiency and managerial culture in the plastics sector.

Maria Elena Veronesi

Secretary

Maria Elena Veronese leads the Sales and Marketing areas of Filtec S.r.l., a mechanical engineering company for the rubber/plastics sector. After joining in 2011, she built her career in a technical world that was initially unfamiliar, becoming a promoter of inclusion, a culture of dialogue, and female participation in strategic decision-making. She believes in diversity as a driver of innovation and shared value.

Emanuela Balzanelli
Treasurer

Emanuela Balzanelli is Treasurer of Women in Plastics Italy and HR Manager of FB Balzanelli Spa. She manages the human resources of the family business, inspired by values of fairness, respect, and inclusion. Within WIP, she oversees the Association’s financial management, helping to build the foundations for initiatives that promote female leadership and professional development in the plastics sector.

Elena Franceschetti

Elena Franceschetti is CEO of Franplast and Vice President of the Chemical Sector of Confindustria Brescia. She leads an SME that produces recyclable thermoplastic compounds for various markets. A tenacious entrepreneur, she promotes female leadership by sharing vision, resilience, and an international outlook.

Erica Cantillo
Board Member

Erica Cantillo is Head of Product & Sales at iTube Srl, a company based in Pesaro specializing in the production of customized plastic pipes and fittings for various industries. After earning a degree in Economics and International Marketing and completing a specialization in Marketing and Corporate Communication, she lived in Modena, Barcelona, London, Urbino, and San Marino, gaining experience in both B2C and B2B marketing. With a proactive mindset, she supports the entry of young professionals into the plastics industry and promotes the value of cross-disciplinary expertise and diverse geographic backgrounds.

Francesca Minarini
Board Member

Francesca Minarini is European Business Director at Chem-Trend, a multinational leader in specialty chemicals for industrial processes, with over 25 years of international experience in the plastics industry. She has held roles of increasing responsibility in commercial and strategic areas, leading multicultural teams and development projects across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. She promotes an inclusive leadership style focused on people development, innovation, and the sustainable growth of the industry.

Martina Giatti
Board Member

Martina Giatti is Sales Manager in the dosing sector at Eurosis S.r.l., a company of the Mix&Co group. After years of study abroad and mastering six languages, she began a career in international sales, founding Plasco S.r.l. in 2014 and leading its growth until its acquisition by an investment fund. With determination and an entrepreneurial vision, she supports female empowerment by encouraging young professionals to believe in their choices.

Michela Conterno
Board Member

Michela Conterno is CEO of LATI Industria Termoplastici S.p.A. and Vice President of Confindustria Varese. She leads one of the main European companies in the engineering polymers sector with a participatory style, focused on sustainability, innovation, and family continuity. An expert in generational transitions and corporate social impact, she promotes authentic, conscious leadership rooted in values.
