At PLASTIMAGEN® MÉXICO, the largest plastics industry trade fair in Latin America, Women in Plastics Italy experienced a particularly meaningful moment: a meeting with Marlene Fragoso Guillén, the first female President of ANIPAC in the association’s 62-year history. Also present was Mario Maggiani, General Director of AMP Amaplast, highlighting the importance of dialogue between international industry associations.
It was a conversation full of inspiration and forward-thinking, centered on the role of women in the plastics industry and the need to build increasingly inclusive and global networks. Marlene Fragoso Guillén’s words and leadership opened new perspectives, reinforcing the desire to collaborate across countries and cultures to elevate female talent around the world.
This meeting marks an important step toward a stronger, more connected international network—one where women lead the way in driving change, innovation, and sustainability in our industry.
