The training course Technical and Practical Introduction to the World of Plastics is designed to provide a well-rounded education for anyone looking to understand materials, processes, and sustainability in the plastics sector. Ideal even for those without a technical background, the course guides participants through the main families of polymers, their applications, and the most common industrial technologies.
Delivered in a hybrid format, the course includes two online sessions (January 28 and February 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM) focused on theoretical foundations, followed by one in-person session (February 11, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM) at Proplast in Alessandria, dedicated to hands-on experience with technologies such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming.
Participants will learn to read material data sheets, assess mechanical and thermal properties, and select the right polymer based on production needs. The course also emphasizes sustainability and innovation—exploring fossil vs. bio-based plastics, recyclability, and environmental impact.
This is a concrete, up-to-date training opportunity for gaining practical skills and a deeper awareness of plastics’ role in today’s world.
