Starting in January 2026, Women in Plastics Italy (WIPS-IT) officially becomes part of #InclusioneDonna, the national Alliance that brings together more than 80 associations committed to promoting women’s employment and representation in Italy. This is a well-established and authoritative network that actively engages in dialogue with public institutions, promotes concrete proposals to advance gender equality, and monitors the implementation of public policies to ensure they are truly effective, measurable, and fair. Today, Inclusione Donna represents a structured space for dialogue among diverse associations, united by the shared goal of generating systemic impact on the country’s economic, social, and cultural dynamics.WIPS-IT’s entry into this Alliance marks a natural evolution of the path the association has pursued since its foundation: enhancing female talent in the plastics sector, promoting women’s leadership in an industry historically dominated by men, and contributing to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable industrial culture.By joining #InclusioneDonna, WIPS-IT brings the voice, expertise, and experience of women professionals working across the entire plastics value chain — from industry to research, from processing to technological innovation — into a broader national conversation. A distinctive and highly qualified contribution that enriches inter-associative dialogue and strengthens female representation within manufacturing and industrial sectors.Being part of an Alliance means sharing responsibility and vision. It means working together to develop structured proposals, support more equitable organizational models, promote best practices, and foster a cultural shift that makes gender equality a stable and integral element of economic policy and the world of work. For WIPS-IT, this step represents not only recognition of the work accomplished so far, but also a renewed commitment: to actively contribute to working groups and policy discussions, to systematize experiences and initiatives, and to strengthen the capacity to influence national decision-making processes.Because when expertise connects and energies align, impact grows. And the voice of women — including in the plastics sector — becomes stronger, more authoritative, and more widely heard.
